Hellstead: Infernal Acres

Hell needs management. Luckily, you’re in charge.

Build your own corner of the underworld in a cartoony, surreal idle farming game where souls are labour, lore is power, and even eternal damnation has upkeep costs.

Start with a humble Keep and a handful of imps. Grow brimroot, forge embers, quarry obsidian, and fund expeditions into the mortal realms. Recruit randomly named demon hunters—from charming tempters to brutal enforcers—and equip them for safer missions or riskier, richer harvests.

Put captured souls to work, house them in Soul Shacks, or feed the excess into an industrial processor to produce lore. Spend that knowledge on research, upgrades, new hunting grounds, and an increasingly extravagant infernal empire.

• Build your way. Freely place and move buildings, arrange industries around support bonuses, and unlock capacity for up to 48 buildings per farm.
• Run a demanding economy. Balance production, housing, labour, and upkeep. Pause or downgrade buildings when ambition outruns your treasury.
• Expand without starting over. Establish additional farms with different landscapes and bonuses, linked by a shared community fund.
• Command your hunters. Choose equipment, unlock destinations, and accept timed contracts requiring particular demon types.
• Defend your dominion. Too many unhoused souls may attract angelic raiders with an insufferable sense of superiority.
• Make hell feel like home. Unlock Overlord portraits, equipment, hunter appearances, building skins, landscapes, and demonic advisors.
• Keep progressing while away. Farms advance offline, with storage limits determining how much wealth you retain.

All cosmetic unlocks use earned in-game lore.

Build. Hunt. Harvest. Process. Expand. Eternity isn’t going to administer itself.
